Our Commitment to Your Privacy

Manna Health complies with Alberta's Health Information Act (HIA) and Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA). We collect, use, and safeguard your information exactly as required for LPN-led care delivered at our Neurvana Med Spa studio.

Information We Collect

We collect contact details, health history, treatment notes, intake forms, consent waivers, booking records, and payment information. When you share photos for consultations or progress tracking, we store them in encrypted platforms with restricted access.

How We Use Your Information

Information is used to personalize treatment plans, document clinical progress, process payments, coordinate appointments, and send scheduling updates. We may anonymize data to track results and improve protocols.

Third-Party Services

We partner with HIPAA-compliant or PIPA-aligned platforms including Square (payments & scheduling), Jane App (secure records), Google Workspace (email), and encrypted photo storage. These partners only process data to support your care.

Your Choices & Rights

You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information at any time. Email privacy requests to info@mannahealth.ca and we will acknowledge within two business days, then complete the request within 10 business days. You may withdraw consent for photo usage or marketing emails at any time.

How We Protect Your Data

We use password-protected devices, encrypted backups, and secure disposal procedures for paper forms. Only authorized team members who require information to fulfill their duties may access it.

Retention & Disposal

Client charts and health information are retained for a minimum of 10 years as required by the Alberta College of Advanced Aesthetics Nurses. When records are no longer required, they are permanently deleted or shredded using secure methods.

Privacy Questions or Concerns

If you have questions or wish to submit a concern, email info@mannahealth.ca or call (250) 423-1400. We document every request and reply within two business days. If unresolved, you may contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta at oipc.ab.ca.
